EXPERIENCE
2000 - present
  • Senior Software Engineer/Researcher at Virginia office of Lason, Inc., Alexandria, VA, USA.
TurboScan2000/NG High Volume Document Capture System was developed and technical support is provided. My responsibilities include all stages of development and maintenance of the TurboScan2000/NG system. Client Modules for different steps of Automated Document Processing such as Image Enhancement, Automated Document Separation, Automated and Manual Data Indexing, Data Verification and Quality Assurance were developed. Also Server ODBC database access DLL was developed. Project was implemented using MS Visual Basic, MS Visual C++ and Intel 80x86 Assembly Language. Numerous proprietary Image Enhancement filters and methods for Data Recognition/Refinement were developed and implemented. Different image processing SDK were used in the project such as Lead Tools, AllMyPapers SeaBars, Pegasys Imaging FormFix/ScanFix, Caere's VTK, Nestor Reader, ParaScript's FieldScript, etc. Customer support and maintenance functions require rapid solution of the problems, product installation, on-site and off-site training, rapid development of customized applications using MS Visual Basic, MS Visual C++, Borland Delphi, VBScript, etc.
