I'm a student of Moscow State University and one of my hobbies is collecting and searching images of nature via Internet. I think, that on this site I found out one of the best pictures collection I’ve ever seen. The solely thing spoiling my impression is not true color format of some images (I guess due to some technical problems). Instead of approximately 16.7 million colors we can see here only 256. In general, I’m very satisfied with images quality and scenes choice. .

I sat all morning watching five white herons and a grey one raid the tadpoles and crayfish in my pond; then a bird larger than the herons with a black, curved bill and white body with black edging on the wings joined then. I have seen white herons many times in my wetlands, but I do not know what this is; maybe a crane, maybe a stork, maybe just another type of heron. A great page. I have downloaded most of your BMP files. I run in 800x600. I notice that the company you work for, M_odel A_pproach, Inc., is in the real estate industry. I am in the final stages of releasing a map program which should have wide spread application in the real estate industry. It is in beta. The program allows the user to view any United States Geological Survey 7 1/2 minute quadrangle. There are more than 53,000 quads available. They come from an enhanced set of vector maps. It is an elegant program and the initial response from the few Realtors who have seen it has been very favorable. Possibly you would be interested in downloading a copy for review. Let me know. I use the internet as a means of visiting other places, and you have really helped me see things that I would have otherwise never been able to. Of course I have seen pictures of places before, but you seem to be able to capture something that most pictures leave out. Thanks again!
